MEET MATILDA LIU
Matilda Liu is an experienced director, scholar and sometimes playwright.
She has been studying a PhD in Drama at University of Nottingham. She specialises in digital and broadcast theatre, exploring the institutional changes brought about by broadcasting theatre productions within both subsidised and commercial venues. Her research delves into the creative processes of classical and contemporary theatre productions, with a keen interest in the future of new theatre-making.
She has been paved by a true passion for theatre. She's interested in making theatre out of multimedia and stimulus, adaptation and verbatim theatre.Previous projects include directing Mine Eyes Have Seen for Evolution Labs, participant deviser & performer at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, TFTI Showreel at University of York, director for Lovestruck, The Outsiders at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.Writing experience includes short film Coins Coins Coins Again, Once Burgled.
